Genetically Modified Organisms and their regulatory framework (June 2020)

This publication, developed within the collaboration agreement between the Ministry for the Environment, Land and Sea Protection and the Department of Bio-Agri-Food Sciences of the National Research Council, provides an overview of the international and national legislation concerning Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs), and shows how the regulatory framework is continually updated in response to ongoing scientific developments in the field of biotechnology.

Training courses for inspectors registered in the National Register pursuant to Decree 8 November 2017 and in charge of performing the activity of surveillance of the deliberate release of genetically modified organisms into the environment.
